New Delhi: A court in the national capital on Wednesday rejected Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s plea seeking bail on medical grounds in the excise policy case.
Special Judge Kaveri Baveja directed Tihar jail authorities to take care of Kejriwal’s medical needs while in judicial custody.
The judge extended Kejriwal’s judicial custody till June 19. The court is likely to hear Kejriwal’s plea seeking statutory bail in the case on June 7.
