Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. The police has arrested a young man who cheated people of crores of rupees by investing their money. The accused has cheated people of about Rs 35-40 crore since 2021. The matter is of Civil Line police station area. Police have seized a large number of bank passbooks and documents from the accused. A case has been registered against the accused under sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and action is being taken.

There is a shop named Sai Krishna Investmentmate in Ushalata Complex in front of KIMS Hospital in Civil Line police station area. The office director, a person named Vinayak Krishna Ratre, who calls himself a stock market broker, used to take money from people in the name of investment. The accused used to tell people to give him money and he would invest it in the share market and give fixed returns of Rs 5 or 10 per month. Many people fell into this trap and deposited money into their accounts. He also used to give them money back regularly. Also, Daily used to manage everyone through a fake handle. In which the names of investors and daily returns were written.

People fell into this trap and started investing more money. Some also became mediators. Who started taking money from their relatives and transferring it to other people. In this way a chain was formed. Now he used to circulate this money. They keep taking money from you and rotating it from one to the other and to the third. Because of which people fell into the trap and became victims of fraud of about Rs 35 to 40 crores.

When the police examined the documents, agreement and statement of offer scheme accounts given by the complainant, it was found that it had only Gumasta license and the company named Sai Krishna Investment was fake. There is no registration for this. Also, the license of its broker shown is that of Anand Ratre, Shanu Khan. The accused is being questioned by the police. Which may lead to even bigger revelations.
