Srinagar: Four security personnel and a traffic police officer were injured in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday. Police gave this information.
Police said that the security forces had cordoned off Adigam village in Devsar area and started a search operation and during this time an encounter started between them and the terrorists.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Mumtaz Ali sustained minor injuries after being shot near the encounter site, officials said. He said that four security personnel have been injured in the ongoing operation against terrorists.
