New Delhi. In Delhi, a man fainted after seeing the condition of his female friend who was admitted to the hospital after slitting her wrist, after which she died. Police gave this information on Sunday. Police suspect that he died of a heart attack, but are waiting for more information to emerge to determine the exact cause.
According to the police, at around 3.30 am on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, a call was made to the Police Control Room (PCR) at Anand Vihar police station and information was given about a person becoming unconscious in the hospital. A senior officer said that the police reached Kailash Deepak Hospital, but by then the doctor had declared 30-year-old Arun Nanda dead.
The officer said that during interrogation it was revealed that a friend of Arun, living in Jagatpuri, had used a sharp object in Anand Vihar area of Shahdara. He had cut his veins, after which he was admitted to Kailash Deepak Hospital. The officer said, initially we came to know that the woman had sent her video to Arun through the messaging app after cutting the veins. Seeing the condition of the woman, Arun suddenly became unconscious in the hospital itself, after which the doctors examined him and declared him dead. Police said that Arun’s body was sent to the Sabzi Mandi mortuary for post-mortem on Saturday and then it was sent to the Sabzi Mandi mortuary for post-mortem. Later he was handed over to his family members. Police said that during the post-mortem, the doctor has also preserved the viscera of the deceased. No incident of assault has come to light.
