New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to Delhi on Saturday morning after attending the G7 summit held in Apulia, Italy. After this, a picture of Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni and Narendra Modi started going viral on social media, in which Georgia is seen taking a selfie with PM Modi. This was Modi’s first foreign trip after becoming Prime Minister for the third time. He had reached Apulia to participate in the ‘Outreach Session’ of the G7 summit. After returning to Delhi, PM Modi also shared a video on his X account and wrote, ‘At the G-7 summit, I presented India’s vision on the world stage.

In the video, the craze for PM Modi among the world leaders is clearly visible. PM Modi was given a place in the middle on the stage of top leaders from all over the world. On reaching Italy, Georgia Meloni welcomed him with folded hands and said Namaste. During this, he was seen meeting many world leaders including US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and French President Emmanuel Macron, Ukrainian President Zelensky, Vatican City chief Pope Francis.

The video also has a glimpse of Georgia Meloni taking a selfie with PM Modi. Before sharing the video, PM Modi posted on Twitter on Saturday morning, in which he wrote, “The G-7 summit in Apulia was extremely productive. Interacted with world leaders and discussed various topics. Together, our goal is to create effective solutions that benefit the global community and create a better world for future generations.”

G-7 includes America, Japan, Germany, Britain, France, Italy and Canada. These countries discuss important issues of the world in a conference every year. The last G-7 summit was held in Japan. India has participated in this conference 11 times so far. France first invited Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to this conference in 2003. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been continuously attending the meetings of this conference since 2019.
