Dubai. India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya on Wednesday once again reached the top of the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 all-rounder rankings while rising star player and his teammate Tilak Verma also made a huge jump of 69 places in the batting rankings. Are in third place.
Hardik recently overtook England’s Liam Livingstone and Nepal’s Deependra Singh Airey due to his brilliant performances with both ball and bat during India’s T20 series against South Africa. Hardik played an unbeaten inning of 39 runs in the second match of the four-match series, while in the fourth and final match he took one wicket for eight runs, which helped India win the series 3-1.
Hardik has become number one in the list of T20 International all-rounders for the second time. He reached the top for the first time after the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup this year. Pandya is not the only Indian player to make a jump in the ICC rankings. Verma, who was the best player of the series, has made a huge jump of 69 places in the batting rankings by scoring 280 runs with the help of two centuries.
Verma is at third place in the T20 International batting rankings after Australia’s Travis Head and England’s Phil Salt. He is India’s top ranking batsman. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav has lost one place to fourth place in the batting rankings.
India’s Sanju Samson has also moved up 17 places to 22nd position in the batsmen’s rankings due to his two centuries in the series against South Africa. Australia’s Adam Zampa and Nathan Ellis have made the most gains in the rankings of T20 international bowlers. Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has moved up three places to a career-best ninth position after his impressive performance against South Africa.
