Noida: Deputy Chief Medical Officer (Deputy CMO) Dr Jayesh Lal, who is investigating the viral video of “objectionable act” at the post-mortem house in Sector 94 of Gautam Budh Nagar district, has submitted the investigation report to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), in which Sher Singh, a contract employee of the hospital, has been named as the main accused. An official gave this information on Wednesday.
The report submitted by Dr Lal on Tuesday said that the video was from August 7 in which Sher Singh could be seen in an “objectionable position” with a woman. It said that it was Singh who had called the woman to the post-mortem house.
The video of the incident surfaced on social media on August 21, following which, on August 22, on the complaint of Assistant Chief Medical Officer R P Singh, the police registered an FIR and Singh’s services were terminated.
The police have already arrested Singh and his two associates.
The investigating officer said that four employees who were present there at the time of the incident were called for questioning and they denied having any knowledge of the incident. Hence, it could not be ascertained who made the video.
The police is also investigating the matter separately. The officer said that warning letters have been issued to all the employees posted at the post-mortem house so that everyone reaches duty on time and entry of outsiders has been banned.
Dr. Lal said that to prevent such incidents, CCTV cameras are being installed whose footage can be viewed directly in the CMO office. In the investigation report, Noida Authority has also demanded to deploy two additional security guards in the post-mortem house so that 24-hour surveillance can be done.
