Satya Rajput, Raipur. The new Health Minister of the state, Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, has conducted a surprise inspection of the hospitals after starting the departmental work. In this series, today he took stock of the arrangements at Dau Kalyan Super Specialty Hospital located in Shastri Chowk. During this time, he came face to face with the patients and their families who came for treatment to the hospital and got to know their condition. Earlier on Monday, the Health Minister reached Ambedkar Hospital and visited the hospital.

Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, who reached DKS on surprise inspection, said that, I have not come to take action but to improve the system. We are working with the resolve to provide easy, accessible and good health care to the 3 crore people of the state. If there is a shortage of any expert or any other deficiency then how can it be rectified. Constantly taking feedback on this. Our priority is that the people of the state do not have to go out for treatment.

Health Minister took a meeting of officials

Earlier on Monday, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal took charge at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan. After this he held a meeting with officials of Public Health and Family Welfare and Medical Department in the Ministry. The Health Minister took detailed information from the officials about the departmental work including national health programs. In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary of Public Health and Family Welfare Department, Renu G. Puppies were also present. He has given instructions to the departmental officers to provide better health facilities to all the needy people of the state.

The Health Minister has given instructions to provide quality health services in all the government hospitals of the state. The minister asked the officials to conduct surprise inspections of government hospitals. He gave instructions to implement the Nursing Home Act more effectively. The Health Minister said that strict action should be taken against the sale of painkillers without doctors' prescription.

Super specialty hospitals will start in Bilaspur and Jagdalpur

Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal says that there is no justification for Khubchand Baghel Health Scheme and it is being considered. He also said that two super specialty hospitals in Bilaspur and Jagdalpur will be started in the state within 2 months.

Visited Ambedkar Hospital

The Health Minister visited Ambedkar Hospital on Monday. He inspected the Advanced Cardiac Institute (ACI), Regional Cancer Institute and Ophthalmology Department and took stock of the arrangements. Jaiswal inspected the ICU in ACI and took information about the health of the patients admitted there. He discussed with the family members of the patients treated at the Regional Cancer Institute and took feedback about the treatment and arrangements. He inspected the Linear Accelerator and Nuclear Medicine department here. The Health Minister also got his eyes checked in the Ophthalmology Department.
