Raipur. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday inaugurated the zonal office of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur. Officials gave this information. Officials said that Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma were also present on the occasion of inauguration.
He said that the zonal unit centre of NCB Raipur is located at Central Secretariat Building, 3rd Floor, D-Wing, Sector-24, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar. Shah virtually inaugurated the NCB office from a hotel in Nava Raipur. Officials said that after this a review meeting on the drug scenario in Chhattisgarh started under the chairmanship of the Union Home Minister. Shah is on a three-day visit to Raipur from Friday. On Saturday, he chaired a meeting on the situation of Left Wing Extremism (LWE) and inter-state coordination on Naxalism.
