Kerala CM rejects Congress’ allegations of having RSS links

The Uncut

Thiruvananthapuram. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday rejected Congress’ allegations that the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the LDF government led by it have an alliance with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Addressing a program organized by the CPI(M) in Kovalam, Vijayan also said that no one needs to have false hopes that the LDF (Left Democratic Front) government can be defamed by making baseless allegations of having links with the RSS.

The Chief Minister has given this statement at a time when the Congress has targeted him over the meeting of a senior IPS (Indian Police Service) officer with RSS leaders. The Congress has alleged that the Chief Minister was aware of this meeting.
Vijayan alleged that top Congress leaders and their governments had helped the RSS grow in the country and the state on various occasions.
