Kunal Khemu had a very clear vision for ‘Madgaon Express’: Pratik Gandhi

New Delhi. Actor Pratik Gandhi said writer-director Kunal Khemu had a very clear vision for the film ‘Madgaon Express’. In an interview to PTI-Bhasha, Gandhi said Kunal was clear about how to present it to the audience. His character’s dialogues had a lion-like outspokenness. However, Kunal added the lion’s growling sound in post-production.

Gandhi said, “I am sure Kunal must have tried many ways to present it in the best way and the Sher style must have suited him the best.” In this film, Gandhi is playing the role of a mummy’s beloved son. His character becomes a confident and outspoken man after consuming drugs.

This is Kunal Khemu’s first film as a director. ‘Madgaon Express’ has done well at the box office and has received good response from critics. It also stars actors like Divyendu and Avinash Tiwari. It is the story of three friends who want to go to Goa since childhood, but as soon as they reach there, they get trapped among drug smugglers and goons.

Pratik Gandhi received a lot of appreciation from fans for his role of Harshad in the series ‘Scam 1992: Harshad Mehta Story’. His recent film ‘Do Aur Pyar Do’ was also a success. Pratik’s film ‘Dedh Bigha Zameen’ has been released today i.e. Friday on the OTT platform Jio Cinema.
