Baghel met the prisoners and enquired about their well-being. During this, the former CM targeted the government and said that innocent villagers have been forcibly put in jail. The police had arrested 69 villagers in the arson murder case, which included 33 women and 36 men.

FIR should be lodged against SP and police officers- Baghel

Former CM Bhupesh Baghel has demanded registration of FIR against SP and other police officers in the case of death of Prashant Sahu, who was lodged in jail. Baghel, who had come to meet the prisoners in jail, was accompanied by Daleshwar Sahu MLA Dongargaon, Indrashah Mandavi MLA Mohla Manpur, Khujji MLA Bholaram Sahu, District President Horiram Sahu and District Panchayat member Tukaram Sahu.
