New Delhi: In the meeting of the Union Cabinet, 7 schemes related to farmers have been approved. Union Minister Ashwani Vaishnav gave this information. He said that the Cabinet has taken 7 big decisions on Monday to improve the lives of farmers and increase their income.
In the meeting of the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, about Rs 14,000 crore has been approved for these 7 programs related to the agriculture sector.
Ashwini Vaishnav said, the first is the Digital Agriculture Mission, it is to create digital public infrastructure for agriculture. The Digital Agriculture Mission will be created with an investment of Rs 2817 crore.
Modi government gave this gift to the farmers
1- He said, the Union Cabinet approved a scheme of Rs 3,979 crore dedicated to crop science of food and nutrition.
2- Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, the Union Cabinet approved the Digital Agriculture Mission of Rs 2,817 crore.
3- He said, the Cabinet approved a programme with a provision of Rs 2,292 crore to strengthen agricultural education and management.
4- Government approved a scheme of Rs 1,702 crore for sustainable livestock health.
5- The Union Cabinet has approved Rs 860 crore for the development of horticulture.
6- Approved allocation of Rs 1,202 crore for agricultural science centers.
7- A scheme of Rs 1,115 crore has also been approved to strengthen natural resource management.

– The Union Cabinet approved the proposal of Kenes Semicon Private Limited to set up a semiconductor unit in Sanand, Gujarat. The proposed unit will be set up with an investment of Rs 3,300 crore. The capacity of this unit will be 60 lakh chips per day.
– The chips produced in this unit will cater to a wide variety of applications, including sectors such as industrial, automotive, electric vehicles, consumer electronics, telecom, mobile phones, etc.
Cabinet approves 309 km long new line project: To provide shortest rail connectivity between two major commercial centres – Mumbai and Indore.
– The approved project will connect commercial centres Mumbai and Indore by the shortest rail route, besides connecting unconnected areas of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh by passing through 2 districts of Maharashtra and 4 districts of Madhya Pradesh. The total cost of the project is Rs 18,036 crore and it will be completed by 2028-29. The project will also generate direct employment of about 102 lakh man days during construction.
