Mungeli district will be connected to rail network: Chief Minister Say

Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has said that in the coming time, Mungeli district will be included in the rail network, due to which rail facilities will be available in Mungeli district. He told that the state government has approved an amount of Rs 300 crore for the Katghora-Dongargarh special rail project. The process of land acquisition will be started soon. Under this project, 38.02 km rail line will pass through Mungeli district, due to which the people of this area will also benefit from the rail service in the coming time. Sai was addressing the Bhakta Mata Karma Mandir Prana Pratishtha ceremony in village Farhada of Mungeli district today.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai announced to give Rs 25 lakh for the community building of Sahu community in village Farhada and Rs 6 lakh each for the community building of Adivasi and Satnami community. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 19 different development works worth more than Rs 25 crore in the program. He also announced the upgradation of Government High School in village Farhada to Higher Secondary School and road renovation work from village Bhalapur to Achanakpur and from Hariyarpur to Tedhadhoura.

While addressing the program, Chief Minister Sai congratulated and wished the Sahu community and all the people present for the Bhakta Mata Karma Prana-Pratishtha. He said that the Bhakta Mata Karma temple in village Farhada has been built by all the villagers together without any government support. This shows the collective unity of the villagers. He thanked the people for electing Tokhan Sahu as an MP from Bilaspur Lok Sabha constituency. He said that MP Tokhan Sahu has been made the Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs in the cabinet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which is a matter of pride for the entire state and this region.

Chief Minister Sai said that our government is continuously working in the direction of development. We are giving the price of paddy to the farmers of the state at Rs 3100 per quintal. More than 70 lakh women are being benefited under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He said that Bilaspur-Mungeli Road to Village Farhada Road, whose total length is five and a half kilometers, has been approved in the budget, its work will be started soon. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw said that our government is dedicated to development. The state government is working well on all dimensions of development including water, electricity, housing. In the program, Minister in charge of Commerce, Industry, Labor and District Lakhanlal Devagangan expressed thanks and gratitude.
