Srinagar. PDP president Mehbooba Mufti on Monday said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is the “biggest terrorist since Adolf Hitler” as the Jewish leader has turned Palestine and Lebanon into “gas chambers”. Mehbooba had earlier condemned the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli air strike and had canceled her election campaign program for a day to express support for Lebanon and Palestine.
“The International Criminal Court has given its verdict against Netanyahu,” he told PTI’s video service. This (attack in Lebanon) incident has proved that he is indeed a criminal who has killed thousands of people in Palestine and is now doing the same in Lebanon. No condemnation of this is enough.” Terming Netanyahu as “the biggest terrorist after Hitler”, the former chief minister said, “Hitler built gas chambers to kill people but Netanyahu has turned Palestine and Lebanon into gas chambers where they are killing thousands of people.” .” Mehbooba said that the decision of the Indian government to have relations with the Netanyahu regime is wrong.
He said, “We have been standing with Palestine since the time of Mahatma Gandhi. “To have relations with such a regime and to supply weapons and drones that are being used to kill people, I think, is a wrong decision.” To a question on BJP criticizing her post calling Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah a martyr, Mehbooba said the Bharatiya Janata Party should look at the “outrage” in the country against the killing.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chief said, “What will BJP tell me? These are the same people who stood with the rapists of the eight year old girl in Kathua. Those convicts are serving their sentence today. I had to remove two of his ministers for supporting the rapists.” He said, “What do they (BJP) know about Nasrallah’s long struggle for the people of Palestine? They should see how many people are coming out in Kashmir, Lucknow and other parts of the country and raising slogans for the martyr. They should realize how wrong their thinking is.”
