Bhubaneswar. The Odisha government on Tuesday approved more than 30 projects worth Rs 4,954.26 crore in various sectors. Officials say that this is expected to provide employment to 24,162 people. These projects were approved in a meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja.
It approved 31 projects in sectors such as mechanical and electrical capital goods, food processing, packaging, apparel and textiles, biofuels, green energy equipment, steel (auxiliaries), non-metallic mineral products, plastics, power and renewable energy, and pharmaceuticals, officials said. The projects will be implemented in Khurda, Bargarh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Angul, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Rayagada, Dhenkanal, Puri, Koraput, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj and Sundargarh districts, they said.
