Nagpur. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Wednesday said India has the answers to the world’s problems. He said the country’s ancient tradition strongly believes in diversity and the spirit of not rejecting anyone. Addressing a program in Nagpur to release a book written by Dayashankar Tiwari Maun on RSS ideologue Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Bhagwat said that when India rises, the faltering world will find its way.
The RSS chief said that the life-related experiments done in the last 2,000 years have failed to bring happiness and peace in the lives of people. He said that thinkers across the world believe that materialistic development is at its peak and it is leading humanity towards destruction.
The RSS leader asked, “What is the answer to this?” He also said, “Our tradition has the answer, because we have been accepting all diversities… did not reject anyone and accepted everyone.” Bhagwat said that the ancient sages of India had clearly understood that the world is actually one, while “we are trying to forcibly make the world one.” Addressing the people present at the program, the RSS chief said, “The world is actually one but it wants diversity, so there is diversity. Becoming one by eliminating diversity is not the way forward. Even while living in diversity, we should understand that we are one. Diversity reaches a limit after which unity comes.”
Quoting Mahatma Gandhi, the RSS chief said, “Be the change you want to see in the world. Be the change you want to see in the world.” He said India has the potential to provide solutions to the problems faced by the global community. Bhagwat said, “We all should take a pledge to become the guide of the world.”
