Paris. Actress Taapsee Pannu has responded in a funny way to the post announcing her husband and badminton player Mathias Boe’s retirement. Boe made this announcement after Indian badminton players Chirag Shetty and Satwiksai Rankireddy were eliminated from the Paris Olympics. Taapsee commented on Boe’s post on the social media platform ‘Instagram’, “Now you are a married man. You need to take a step back.” London Olympics silver medalist Boe announced his retirement on Saturday. Boe was the coach of Shetty and Satwiksai Rankireddy before the Tokyo Olympics.

Mathias Boe (44) wrote on social media platform ‘Instagram’, “For me my coaching days are over here. I will not coach in India or anywhere else, at least not for now. I have spent too much time in the badminton hall. Being a coach is also very stressful. I am a tired old man.” Pannu, who tied the knot with her long-time partner Boe in a private ceremony in March, shared a teary-eyed emoji on Boe’s post on Saturday. Pannu wrote, “You are a married man now. You need to take a step back. I have to come home from work every day and prepare food for you and clean up.”
