PCC Chief Badge said – Contrary to public expectations, a very disappointing budget of false dreams and hollow claims.

Raipur. Commenting on Chhattisgarh Budget 2024, State Congress Committee President Deepak Baij said that the first budget of the Sai government has been a huge disappointment, contrary to the expectations and expectations of the general public. Neither is there any road map visible in terms of youth employment, nor is there any concrete strategy to deal with inflation. There was a promise to provide government jobs to 1 lakh youth, but there is no provision for new jobs in the budget, instead the amount of unemployment allowance was eaten up. There was a promise of giving travel allowance to college going students, for which there is no budget provision. The BJP, which promised to provide gas cylinders for Rs 500, has not been able to make a budget provision of even one rupee for gas subsidy.

State Congress President Deepak Baij said that the budget is for one year, but the hoax is till 2047? Today's budget address presented in Chhattisgarh was completely like BJP's election slogans. Ballads of lies and rhetoric were read. In this budget dedicated to worshiping Modi, there was no mention of the expectations and discrimination of the central government towards Chhattisgarh. He could not say even a word on the state's withheld share in central taxes and the penalty money on coal royalty which has been pending for years.

State Congress President Deepak Baij has said that in the last budget presented by the previous Congress government, provision was made to open four new medical colleges in Chhattisgarh. There is no provision for opening even a single new medical college or engineering college in this budget. Special health assistance scheme up to Rs. 25 lakh was operated, Hamar Hospital, Hamar Lab, Haat Bazaar Clinic, Mohalla Clinic, Slum Health Medical Scheme were operated.

Baij said, in the last budget, a provision of Rs 19488 crore was kept for education, which was 19.4 percent of the total budget. In this budget, this amount has been reduced to 15.95 percent, which is said to be the target of doubling the GDP. The previous Congress government has shown this. The GSDP of the state was only Rs 2 lakh 70 thousand crore in 2017-18, which increased to Rs 5 lakh 9 thousand crore during the previous Congress rule, that is, the state's GDP had doubled in the 5 years of Congress rule. The state government had not taken any new loan for the last 3 years, but as soon as the BJP government came to power, new loans were taken four times in the last 2 months. Vishnu Dev Sai government has already taken a new loan of more than Rs 5000 crore. Revenue surplus in 2022-23 will be 2661 crores, in 2023-24 it will be 3500 crores, this time the revenue surplus will come down to only 1060 crores, overall the first budget of Vishnudev Sai government has disappointed the people of Chhattisgarh.
