The Central Government has provided major relief to its 65 lakh pensioners. The Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO) of the Department of Expenditure of the Finance Ministry was receiving complaints from pensioners that their pension amount was getting delayed. It has also been seen that some pensioners are not getting their pension at the end of the same month. A few days of the next month also pass in the process of the pension amount coming into the account. Due to all this, the Finance Ministry has taken the delay in payment of pension seriously.
Now all the pensioners will get their pension at the end of the month. A report has to be sent electronically by the Central Pension Processing Center (CPPC) by the forenoon of the last working day of the month. It will have to be mentioned on the e-PPO site that at the end of the month the fixed amount has been sent to the accounts of so many pensioners.
