Jaipur: People of Rajasthan got relief on Saturday from the heavy rains that had been continuing for several days. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain mainly dry in most parts of the state for the next few days.
According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall has been recorded at some places in Rajasthan in the 24 hours till Saturday morning. During this period, the highest rainfall of 32 mm was recorded in Sapau (Dholpur). Apart from this, 17.0 mm rainfall was recorded in Sanchore (Jalore), light rain occurred at many other places.
According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, during September 14-17, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at only a few places in eastern Rajasthan and the weather is likely to remain mainly dry in most parts. On the other hand, in most parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner division of western Rajasthan, the weather is likely to remain mainly dry for the next 4-5 days and light rain is likely to occur at some places.
