The IGP said, “We had recovered laptops, printers and other electronic equipment in previous anti-Naxal operations but perhaps a television has been recovered for the first time.” The Naxalites may have brought it to senior members who camp in the area or they may have looted it from the villagers.”

Sundarraj said that soldiers of both the units of the state police, District Reserve Guard (DRG) and Bastar Fighters, were involved in this operation. He said that this campaign was started on Saturday night in the forests of Danteshpuram, Bhandardara, Nagaram and Korajguda. This operation was carried out on the basis of information about the presence of Naxalites associated with the Konta area committee of the banned organization. IGP said, “In view of the activities of the security personnel in Danteshpuram, the Naxalites hid their belongings and escaped. “During the search of the area, this material hidden by the Naxalites was seized.”
