The Uncut

Lucknow: Before the Lok Sabha elections, Congress had distributed ‘Guarantee Cards’ to many families. In this, a promise was made to give Rs 1 lakh every year to the female head of every poor family. Rahul Gandhi’s statement of money coming into the account with a sound like ‘khata khata khata khata’ was also much discussed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also targeted Rahul Gandhi by imitating this sound like ‘khata khata khata’.

After PM Modi’s attack, along with Congress, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav also became vocal. Many SP leaders also started creating an atmosphere with this ‘khatak-khatak’. Its effect was also seen in the result. There has been a huge voting in UP in favour of SP-Congress. SP’s seats increased seven times and Congress’s seats increased six times.

Congress-SP government is not being formed at the center, but in view of the date of June 5 announced by Rahul Gandhi, a crowd has definitely gathered at the Congress office in Lucknow.
