Raipur: Raipur. A case of gang rape of a woman has come to light in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. The incident was carried out by the bus driver and conductor. It is being told that the accused first made the woman drink intoxicants and then committed the crime. The police have taken one accused into custody in the case. The entire case is of Tikrapara police station inter-state bus stand.
According to the information received, the 45-year-old woman is a resident of Saraipali. The woman had a family dispute 3 days ago, after which she was staying near the bus stand in the capital. The accused bus driver and conductor made the woman drink intoxicants, after which they took her to Ravanbhatha ground behind the bus stand and committed the crime.
In this case, one of the accused driver Sonilal Jharia has been arrested while the search for the other accused is on. This incident has raised a big question on the law and order situation in Raipur. On Friday night, a woman was gang-raped at the inter-state bus stand. The bus driver and conductor committed the crime. The question arises that why the police does not patrol the area. There is silence in the police help center built in the bus stand as well. Officers are not seen doing their duty.
