Raipur. The results of District Advocates Association elections have been announced in the capital. This time in the elections, senior advocate Hitendra Tiwari has been elected president and Arun Mishra has been elected secretary. Senior advocate Kishore Tamrakar and Ritu Bundela, Vice President of District Advocates Association, Shrikant Mishra, Treasurer, Parasram Kashyap, Sports Secretary and Bhajan Jangde have won the post of Library Secretary. This time 56 advocate candidates had contested the elections for various posts.
Let us tell you that last Friday, the voting process had started in the court premises from 10 am on Friday to elect officials for 11 posts including President, Vice President, Secretary of Raipur Advocates Association. There was great enthusiasm among the lawyers to vote. One by one the advocates used their votes. During the voting, 2,002 advocates out of total 2,368 registered advocate voters had cast their votes in the District Advocates Association. The result of which has been released today.
