New Delhi. Senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Rajvinder Singh Bhatti has been appointed as the chief of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) while Daljit Singh Chaudhary has been appointed as the chief of Border Security Force (BSF). This information was given in an official order on Wednesday. Bhatti is a 1990 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Bihar cadre.
According to an order of the Personnel Ministry, Bhatti has been appointed as the Director General of CISF for a tenure from the date of assuming charge till the date of his retirement on 30 September 2025. The Personnel Ministry said that Chaudhary, currently the chief of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), has been appointed as the Director General of BSF for a tenure till the date of his retirement on 30 November 2025. Chaudhary is a 1990 batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre.
