Government ration shop operators have now decided to go on strike from October regarding their problems.

There are a lot of problems in government ration shops. 15 thousand ration shop operators, hurt by the lack of solution even after applying several times, have now decided to go on strike from October. Many problems in the 5 thousand ration shops of the state have now taken a big form. In these, all the shops of the state were forced to distribute ration through e-pass machine in the electronic machine trial.

In view of this, the Government Ration Shopkeepers and Vendors Welfare Association has warned the department through a memorandum to go on strike over 6 point demands. It has been stated that the quality of the e-POS machine is very poor, it causes problems. There is no proper system and instrument to improve it. Every month ration distribution is affected due to server problems.

Disputes keep happening between shopkeeper and consumer

It has been told that irregularities are being done in the allocation of ration for the last 5 months. The storage and distribution system is affected. This leads to disputes between shopkeepers and consumers. Shopkeepers are also facing financial crisis because the amount of sack, margin amount, e-POS margin amount, financial support amount is not being paid on time. The margin amount has not been increased by even one rupee in 20 years. It has not been considered even after demanding it several times.
