Munger: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Pankaj Yadav was shot and injured by criminals during a walk on Thursday morning in Safiasarai police station area of Munger district of Bihar. Munger Sadar Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar said that RJD State General Secretary Pankaj Yadav was shot and injured by criminals during his morning walk in the airport grounds.
He said that Yadav has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment. According to doctors, his condition is now out of danger. The police is investigating the case Pankaj Yadav’s father Ramcharitra Yadav alleged that two criminals, including Mitthu Yadav, riding a motorcycle, had carried out the incident.
It is said that Mitthu Yadav had gone to Pankaj Yadav on Wednesday with a request to represent the police in some case, to which Pankaj refused. JDU’s national spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan said on this incident that since 2005, the track record of Bihar Police has been that the criminal has not escaped.
He said, “The attackers will be arrested very soon, no matter who they are, party leaders, workers or common people.” If any incident happens, she understands her responsibilities very well against the police.
