Nitin Namdev, Raipur. The coach died suddenly in the tennis court while training a player at the New International Tennis Stadium in Jora, capital Raipur. It is being told that tennis coach Sharad Kumar Rajput had come from Delhi. He died on March 29 at around 5.30 pm. When he suddenly fell on the ground while training the player, CPR was given to him on the spot, but the attempt failed. Cardiac arrest has been revealed in the postmortem. This is the first such case in Raipur.

50 year old tennis coach Sharad Kumar Rajput had arrived from Delhi yesterday with his players for the Asian Under 14 Tennis Competition which started from March 30. When tennis coach Sharad Kumar Rajput was making his players practice, he died of a heart attack. Giving information, Tennis Association General Secretary Gurcharan Singh Hora said that an immediate attempt was made to give him CPR and he was taken to the hospital but he could not be saved. Sharad Rajput was a member of a well-known tennis family of Delhi.

Tournament Coordinator Rupendra Chauhan informed that due to the efforts of General Secretary of Chhattisgarh Tennis Association, Hora, his mortal remains were handed over to his family members who had come from Delhi after completing all the formalities. Who took them to Delhi by air in the evening. His last rites will be performed on Sunday. Before the distribution of ITF Junior awards, the officials of Chhattisgarh and the present players paid emotional tribute to him by observing two minutes of silence.
