Jaipur: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday expressed confidence that Sainik schools will provide a new impetus to the efforts to give a new direction to the society. He said that these schools instill values like discipline, patriotism and courage in their students.
Singh was addressing the inauguration program of Shri Bhawani Niketan Sainik School here. He said, “Sainik schools do not just give bookish knowledge to the students but also try to inculcate commitment and values in the students. Sainik schools instill values like discipline, patriotism and courage in their students.”
He said, “The all-round development of the personality of the students due to these values naturally inspires them to take the country forward.” Singh said, “Today when we are trying to give a new direction to the society through the new education policy, Sainik schools will work to give new impetus to this effort.”
Earlier, Singh also planted a sapling in the newly established school. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari and Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore were also present at the event.
