Janjgir. Two children traveling in a school van have been injured after it fell into a river in Sakti district of Chhattisgarh. Police officials gave this information on Wednesday. Police officials said that the van of a private school fell into the river near Pisaud village under Hasaud police station area of the district. Two children have been injured in this incident.
He told that 15 children of Happy Public School of the village had left for school in a van at around eight in the morning. Children studying from nursery to fifth class were traveling in the van. During this time, the driver left the main road and took the van to the narrow road built in the barrage and the van became unbalanced and fell into the stop dam of Son river.
Police officials said that when the villagers taking bath there came to know about the incident, they informed the police and with the help of the vehicle driver took out the children. As soon as information about the incident was received, the family members of the children also reached the spot. He told that after getting information about the incident, the police team also reached the spot. Two children have been injured in this incident. He is being treated in the hospital. Other 13 children have been discharged after investigation. Everyone’s condition is out of danger. Police officials said that a case has been registered and investigation is being done. He told that according to reports, the steering of the van was not working properly, hence this incident happened. He said that more information in this regard will be available only after investigation.
