Kanpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday attacked the main opposition party Samajwadi Party (SP) and said that the SP’s ‘cap is red but its deeds are black’. The Chief Minister launched a scathing attack on the SP at a meeting in Chunniganj, Kanpur.
He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 750 crore. He said, “Everyone is familiar with the exploits of the Samajwadi Party. If you turn the pages, you will find that their history is full of black deeds. The Samajwadi Party’s cap is red, but their deeds are black. He said, “These people are repeating history. Hooliganism, anarchy, and creating threat to the safety of daughters and businessmen were their identity. Their show and real face are different.
Because of them, the people of Sisamau are facing a by-election. ” In June last year, the local court sentenced SP MLA Irfan Solanki from Sisamau assembly seat to seven years of imprisonment in the case of burning a woman’s house. After this, his membership has been cancelled and a by-election has to be held on this seat.
Adityanath said, “SP people usurp the property of the poor and incite riots. There was a conspiracy to incite riots here on the day when the President, a son of this soil, came to Kanpur. The SP MLA of Sisamau (then MLA Irfan Solanki) was conspiring to throw Sisamau and Kanpur into the fire of riots. Now he is facing the punishment for his actions. The people had given the mandate for five years, but now they have to face by-elections.”
He said, “In Ayodhya, SP leader Nishad plays with the honor of a daughter, but instead of taking action against that shameless man, the SP chief was shamelessly supporting him. In Lucknow, a daughter was going on a motorcycle with her father, when the water filled in the rain, SP goons started harassing the daughter. Then one of their leaders had said in the House that Sadbhavna train should run, on which I had said that for mafia-goons, not Sadbhavna, but Bullet train will run.”
The Chief Minister, while pointing to the arrest of Nawab Singh Yadav, who is allegedly associated with the SP, on charges of rape in Kannauj recently, said, “The third model of SP was seen in Kannauj. The Nawab brand is their real identity. They play with the dignity of daughters through their wealth acquired through immoral means. This accused is also associated with the SP.”
Adityanath also took a dig at the Congress and said, “Lal Imli textile mill had become the identity of Kanpur, but it has been closed. It has become a monument of Congress’s dishonesty and corruption. The youth should have got jobs and employment here. Thousands of families should have been fed, but today that Lal Imli has become a monument of their corruption and is irritating them.
He said, “Our government is considering giving a big package for the revival of Lal Imli. Our government has further considered giving the entire land to the sick unit and the package for revival.” Claiming that his government has given jobs without any discrimination, he said, “Without recommendation and bribe, six and a half lakh youth have got government jobs in seven and a half years. The government does not tolerate those who play with the future of the youth.
The land of their forefathers is being confiscated and distributed among the poor.” Adityanath also said, “The government will provide government jobs to two lakh youths in two years. Apart from this, the process of police recruitment is going on for more than 60 thousand 200 youths.”
He said that 50 lakh youth are being linked with Prime Minister Mudra Yojana, Prime Minister Self Employment Scheme, Chief Minister Youth Self Employment Scheme, ODOP, PM Swanidhi, PM Vishwakarma, Chief Minister Vishwakarma Labor Honor Scheme.
Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs. 750 crores. The Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to more than a thousand youths, loans worth Rs. 191 crores to 5027 beneficiaries and tablets and smartphones to 8087 youths.
