Six lakh twenty thousand rupees worth Rs 2000 recovered from Maoist organization

Bijapur. Bijapur police said that information was received from the informer that a person is coming to Awapalli in a motor cycle to collect the money of the banned CPI Maoist organization under the police station Awapalli, who has a huge amount of Rs 2000 notes. On the basis of information, on 28.06.2023, MCP action was taken near Talperu Petrol Pump by the joint force of Thana Awapalli and Keripu 229/C Company.

During the proceedings, on the tip of the informer, the person coming from the motor cycle was stopped and interrogated. On enquiry, his name was told to be Mahesh Badse father Bhima age 24 years resident Murdanda Komathguda police station Awapalli. In whose cover bag fitted in the tank of a motorcycle, 03 bundles and 10 notes of 2000-2000 value, 30 pieces of banned CPI Maoist organization pamphlets were recovered from 1 white polythene.

No document was presented when asked to present valid documents in relation to the above recovered material and amount. On inquiry regarding the above amount from suspect Mahesh Badse, it was told that it was called to Nendra 15 days back by Basaguda LOS Commander Shankar and Nendra RPC President Hadma Kuhrami along with Mahesh Mungail.
