Mumbai: As the counting of votes for the Maharashtra Assembly elections continues, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Saturday alleged that there is a “big conspiracy” and “something wrong” in the Maharashtra Assembly election results, amid indications that the ruling alliance BJP-led Mahayuti has won a landslide victory. ”It seems so.
Speaking to reporters, Raut said the election results did not reflect the mandate of the people as the situation at the ground level was very different and there was clear anger against the government.
He said, “I see a big conspiracy in this…This is not the mandate of Marathi ‘Manush’ and farmers.” Raut said, “We do not consider it as the mandate of the people. There is something wrong with the election results.” He said that there is no doubt that money was used in the elections.
The Rajya Sabha member said in a questioning tone, “How can all the MLAs of Chief Minister Eknath Ninde win?” How can Ajit Pawar, whose betrayal has angered Maharashtra, win?” According to the latest data from the Election Commission, the ruling BJP-led Mahayuti is leading on 204 seats in the 288-member assembly.
