Raipur: The budget of Ayushman card is going to increase in Chhattisgarh. On this matter, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said, treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is being provided through Shaheed Veernarayan Singh Yojana. Treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is being done under Ayushman Yojana. On the basis of our manifesto, the amount of treatment under Ayushman Yojana will be increased from 5 to 10 lakh. Its process is going on.
Regarding the lathicharge on Congress workers, Minister Shyam Bihari said, no matter who is in power, the law works according to its own will. This is Vishnu Dev Sai’s government. Action is being taken everywhere considering all the points. It is not the case anywhere in the state that the police has done lathicharge in an incorrect manner. Congress leaders keep giving direct threats.
This is the same Bhupesh Baghel and the same Congress party that got women brutally lathi-charged. They got journalists beaten up. They got BJP workers lathi-charged. They have no moral right to speak about how they have kept the law in their pockets in the last 5 years.

Regarding Congress’ protest against rising crime, Shyam Bihari said, “Law and order is being maintained with full alertness in Vishnu Dev’s government. Jungle Raj had been established in the last 5 years. Women were not safe, children were not safe, journalists were not safe, the general public was troubled. Today there is an atmosphere of peace and calm in the entire state. Seeing this, the Congress people are getting a stomachache.”
Health department alert on swine flu
On the increasing cases of swine flu in Chhattisgarh, the Health Minister said, every year cases of swine flu and seasonal diseases are reported. This year too, thousands of cases have been reported. Our health team has successfully resolved this. So far, 12 people have died of swine flu in the entire state. There are adequate arrangements for testing and treatment of swine flu. Along with this, instructions have been given for proper treatment.
