Amethi: Rakesh Pratap Singh, Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA from Gauriganj in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, will start the padyatra for Ayodhya from November 11 with Ram devotees. This march will be 108 kilometers long. Rakesh Pratap Singh had won the assembly elections from Gauriganj for the third time on SP ticket.
Rakesh Pratap Singh’s padyatra will start from November 11 and on November 14, the MLA will visit Ramlala along with his colleagues. Singh said that the yatra will stop at Musafirkhana on November 11, Milkipur on November 12 and Saket Mahavidyalaya in Ayodhya on November 13. After darshan on 14th November, the journey will return to Gauriganj by bus.
He said that the padyatra will start from Rananjay Inter College Gauriganj at 9 am on November 11. SP MLA Singh told reporters that he has sent an invitation to all the families and all Ram devotees of his assembly constituency to participate in this yatra.
He is confident that more than 15,000 Ram devotees will leave for Ayodhya with him during this journey.
MLA Singh said that at the time of the inauguration of the Ram temple, he had proposed to all the MLAs in the Assembly to collectively visit Ayodhya, but the very next day the high command of his party had refused to go to Ayodhya with the Chief Minister and ministers.
Singh said that at that very time he had resolved that he would go on foot from his birthplace to see Lord Ram Lal. Singh told about the purpose of the padyatra that his aim is to strengthen Sanatan and propagate Sanatan.
He said that the purpose of this yatra is also to answer such people who question our Hindu Gods and Goddesses, abuse them, question Ram Charit Manas and insult them. Singh claimed that his yatra It has the blessings of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and is getting full support from the government and administration. He said that the administration and the government have made strict arrangements regarding the security of the yatra.
