Raipur: Due to the meaningful initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, free training is being given to economically weaker girl students in Nav Gurukul Educational Institute under Jashpur District Administration. The objective of this scheme is not only to increase the level of education but also to make the girl students self-reliant and connect them with vocational skills, so that they can create their bright future.
This program is run in Jashpur as well as Raipur and Dantewada districts of the state. All facilities are being provided to the students by the district administration. Here girl students are being trained in various fields like computer software, finance, business, education, and graphics designing. Apart from this, additional classes on language knowledge and personality development are also conducted for overall development of girl students. Girl students are provided free accommodation, training, and food facilities. Laptop/computer and internet facility are also provided free of cost during the training, which helps them to study and work on projects.
At present, under this programme, 16 talented girl students of the district have received training in various fields and have been successfully selected for placement in leading companies of other states. These girl students are now earning good income, which is a living proof of their efforts. Training has been started for 150 girl students here, out of which more than 60 girl students are currently studying.
This vision of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is not limited only to bringing change in the lives of girl students, but it also inspires a positive change in the society. Her thinking has not only made the girl students self-reliant, but has also provided them the opportunity to realize their dreams.

Miss Pratibha Thapa, a resident of Jashpur Nagar, says, ‘The financial condition of my family was not good, due to which I had to leave my studies midway. When I heard about Nav Gurukul, I filled the form and came here for training. I never imagined even in my dreams that I would get free education in such an expensive course. I took 16 months of training in a business course and today I am working as a cloud support engineer in a private company.
Kumari Neha Chauhan of Jashpur Nagar told that my father is a small farmer. Our income is not good enough for me to go out and study. But I have benefited a lot from this institute. Here I got 13 months of training in business courses as well as language knowledge, which is very useful for me.
Kumari Sakshi Singh, resident of Dugdugiya (Kunkuri) says that when I came to know about this place, I filled the form and took training. I trained here for 15 months. Today I got the job of Data Analytics Associate in Baru Saheb University, Himachal Pradesh. This is a big opportunity for me. I have come out of my house for the first time. I feel great being financially independent.
The beneficiary girl students expressed their gratitude towards Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and said that this initiative of the Chief Minister has not only changed our lives, but is also an important step towards bringing a positive change in the society. Such schemes will definitely become a source of inspiration for the coming generations.
