Raipur. ‘Sugam App’ has been launched in Chhattisgarh to prevent property related fraud. More than 1200 registries have been done through this app in the state. Officials gave this information on Thursday. Officials said that ‘Sugam App’ has been launched with the aim of making the registry process in the state transparent and more convenient for the public. The operation of the app started from October 21, after which more than 1200 registries have been done in the state. State Finance Minister O.P. Chaudhary said that ‘Sugam App’ is an important step towards stopping property related fraud.
Often such complaints come to the fore that after registration, a common man becomes a victim of fraud in many ways such as difference in the description of the property given in the registry document and the condition of the place, a property being sold to many people, whose The registration has been done whether the land is actually in existence or not. Choudhary said, “Such incidents also keep coming to light that land for roads, paths, gardens etc. has also been sold. There are incidents of land being sold in excess of what is available at that time. “Such incidents lead to increase in conflicts and litigation.” He said that in ‘Sugam App’, during the registration process, the party will have to take his mobile to the place where the land is to be registered and enter that place on the app.
Chaudhary said, “That photo itself? It will go to the registrar’s module. The geographical location of that place will be recorded in the registry paper along with the photo. “In this way, the actual geographical location of the property will be permanently recorded in the registry paper, so that the party can go to that place at any time and identify the property.” Chaudhary said that ‘Sugam App’ will help in curbing the incidents of revenue loss. He said, “The app will provide information about the actual structure of the property, so that structures like buildings, roads, factories etc. will not be hidden. In such a situation, revenue loss to the government can be prevented.”
