Raipur. Governor Ramen Deka today attended the closing ceremony of the Chhattisgarh State Level Junior Red Cross Training cum Goodwill Camp organized by the Indian Red Cross Society Durg as the chief guest.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Governor Deka expressed happiness for the state level Junior Red Cross Meet 2024 program being organized for the first time in Chhattisgarh. He saluted the dedication and spirit of service of the young volunteers who are part of this important program of the Red Cross, who are the future of the country and understand their responsibilities towards the society.

The Governor said that Red Cross not only teaches you all the skills to provide medical services and help in emergency situations, but it also strengthens your sensitivity and sense of service towards humanity. This training camp will not only provide you skills but will also teach you those ideals of life which promote peace, goodwill and unity in the society. Today, the whole world is struggling with various challenges.

The Governor said that in the camp, training is being imparted not only on emergency aid, first aid and disaster management, but also on promoting the spirit of humanity, peace and cooperation in the society, community development, social harmony, and moral values. Special attention was given. This camp will inspire everyone towards becoming a better citizen. He said that whatever you learn from here, you must teach and tell it to your family members and friends so that they can also help other people in emergency situations.

The Governor also congratulated and congratulated the winning participants of various competitions for their excellent performance and the Indian Red Cross Committee, Durg for this successful event. In the five-day program of Red Cross Society, various competitions were organized among the students from 33 districts.
