The farmer whose loan was waived off by former CM Shivraj, Cooperative Department officials now declared the certificate invalid, know the whole matter

Shashank Dwivedi, Khajuraho. In Madhya Pradesh, the state government is making hundreds of efforts to provide relief to the Annadata farmers. Efforts are being made to make them debt free through different schemes. But the Cooperative Department is tarnishing the intentions of the government. Actually, a case has come to light where the then Shivraj government had waived off the loan of a farmer. But the officials of the Cooperative Department are calling the certificate issued by the government invalid. The whole matter is of Chandranagar village of Rajnagar tehsil.

Farmer Rajesh Dubey told that during the rule of former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, he had a loan of about Rs 1 lakh 24 thousand, including principal and interest, of District Cooperative Central Bank Bamitha branch in Chandranagar. Due to pressure from the committee, he somehow paid the entire loan. Meanwhile, on June 13, 2023, former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan waived off Rs 46,605 under the Kisan-Krishak Interest Waiver Scheme.

Farmer Rajesh Dubey also received a message in his mobile in which it is clearly written that he has become debt free. Your interest has been waived. The farmer also has proof of this. But when farmer Rajesh Dubey went to the Chandranagar Committee of the Cooperative Department to demand the return of the amount forgiven by the government, the officials of the Cooperative Department kept misleading the farmer for a year by calling the certificate issued by the government invalid. .

The farmer was forced to wander from door to door. Meanwhile, distressed farmer Rajesh Dubey reached the Tehsil office to seek justice, where he lodged a written complaint with the Tehsildar seeking justice.
