The first draft of Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy will be ready by July 31

Raipur. Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan has directed the department officials to release the first draft of the state’s new industrial policy 2024-29 by July 31. For the new industrial policy, the Industry Department is constantly consulting with different industry organizations and taking their valuable suggestions, so far suggestions have been taken from 20 different industry associations of the state. Apart from this, the department is also studying the industrial policy of other states including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh. Emphasis is being laid on increasing investment incentives in Chhattisgarh to national, international investors and industrialists.

Industry Minister Devangan has instructed the officials that the new industrial policy should focus on every sector. More and more industries of new sectors like pharmaceutical, agriculture, textile and other sectors should be set up so that more people get employment and investment in the state also increases. With the setting up of industries of these sectors, the possibility of increase in pollution will also be less.

Industry Minister will himself visit other states and take suggestions from industry representatives

For the new policy, Industry Minister Devangan himself will visit other states and meet the industry representatives there to take suggestions. So that the good and encouraging grant demands of the industry policy of those states can be studied and tested. Recently, Minister Devangan had discussed the new policy with the representatives of ICC in New Delhi.

Opinion will also be taken from all ministers and departments

The new industrial policy of the state will be formulated for the next 5 years only after discussions with all the departments and ministers. So that all the departments are included in the policy and industries can be set up in every sector.
