The Uncut

Raipur. Any kind of disaster in the world, whether it is war or an epidemic like corona, the work of nurses is the most important. In emergency situations, nurses leave their children and serve and take care of patients in the hospital like mothers. Everyone has their own important role in the field of health, but without nurses, it is very difficult to run the health department. State Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said this today in the program of Nursing Officers Association Chhattisgarh in the Telemedicine Hall of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Smriti Hospital Raipur.

Health Minister Jaiswal, while wishing the Nursing Officers Association on its second anniversary, said that the role of a nurse in a hospital is like that of a mother to every patient.

In such a situation, nurses should take care of patients like their own children. He said that even if doctors are not available in remote areas, seeing a nurse in the hospital generates confidence in the minds of patients and their families. Jaiswal said that just like prayers are needed along with medicine, the behavior, work and cooperation of nurses with patients along with doctors works like medicine.

Health Minister Jaiswal said that the first nursing college in the state was started in the year 2003 and till now about 140 nursing colleges have been opened including government and private colleges, in which more than seven and a half thousand girl students are studying nursing. Jaiswal told the nurses on this occasion that the full salary for the period of the last strike is being given and along with this, the nurses are also being given the facility of study leave.

On this occasion, Dr. Tripti Nagariya, Dean of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Medical College, Dr. SBS Netam, Superintendent of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Medical College, Dr. Reena Rajput, President of Nursing Officers Association and nurses were present in large numbers.
