Anoop Dubey, Dhimarkheda (Katni) Gangs of thieves are active in the villages of Silondi police post of Katni district. Here the thieves have now targeted the Panchayat building. From here the thieves stole the inverter and battery. Earlier, thieves had stolen the LED bulb. The villagers are scared due to the continuous incidents of theft. The Sarpanch and Secretary have lodged an FIR in the police station in this case, but the police are still empty handed.

Even temples and deserted houses are being targeted

Chorals are also continuously targeting temples and deserted houses. Late last Saturday night, the theft was carried out by breaking the locks of two houses in Silundi village. Sarpanch of Kachar village Bada Gram Panchayat Kailash Chandra Jain said that thefts are continuously happening in the area, the police is not able to disclose it. The people of the area are in panic due to incidents of theft. Earlier in the Chowki area, there were thefts in Ram temple located in Dasarman and Mahadevi temple in Silondi, Chhoti Madhiya Kachar village, Hanuman temple in Bada village, which could not be revealed.

SP said this

Regarding the frequent thefts in the area, Superintendent of Police Abhijeet Ranjan termed the matter as serious and immediately directed the police station in-charge to investigate the matter and assured that the thefts would be exposed as soon as possible.
