The court has also raised questions on the medical examination of the accused.

In the status report presented in the Supreme Court, the CBI has said that the crime scene in Kolkata has been tampered with. An attempt was made to cover up the case. The FIR was filed after the funeral. During the hearing on the Kolkata case, senior advocate Tushar Mehta said that doctors are working for 36 hours a day. If the doctors get assurance of security from the court, they will be satisfied. They should be given a chance to present their case.

On this, CJI Chandrachud said that 36 to 48 hours duty of doctors is not right. We know that doctors are working for 36 hours. I myself have slept on the floor in a government hospital when a member of my family was ill. We have received a lot of emails stating that there is a lot of pressure on the doctors. The CJI said that if we start seeking representation from all stakeholders, it will not be possible to handle the matter properly.
