West Bengal: Supreme Court reprimanded Mamata’s government in Sandeshkhali case

The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a plea filed by the West Bengal government challenging the Calcutta High Court order directing a CBI probe into allegations of crimes against women and land grabbing in Sandeshkhali.

The Supreme Court reprimanded the state government in this case and said that the state has not been doing anything in this case for months. He raised the question that why is the government trying to save one person.
