Broccoli
Broccoli is very good for health. The properties present in it help in increasing the blood platelet count. Include broccoli in your diet to make yourself fit after dengue. You can also eat it by steaming it.
Fruits containing vitamin C
Oranges, papaya, guava, and strawberries are rich in vitamin C which helps boost your immune system. Include seasonal fruits like amla, karonda, lemon in your daily routine.
Garlic and Ginger
Both of these things have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which can boost immune function. Include both of these things in your diet.
Eat protein rich foods
Include paneer, curd, milk, soya, mixed dal, rajma, chickpeas, gram, paneer, drumstick, sattu, tofu, pulses, beans in your diet. All these things are rich in protein.
Beetroot and Carrot
Platelets decrease in dengue fever. In such a situation, include beetroot and carrot in your diet. Both these things are rich in antioxidants and nutrients which help in the regeneration of blood cells and improve platelet count.
