Will the railway divide the village into two parts? Villagers are upset over the preparation to close the railway gate located in the middle of the village.

Ravi Goyal, Sakti. Can Railways divide a village into two parts? A similar case is being seen in Sakreli village of the district. After the construction of the overbridge at the railway crossing, the Railways has decided to close the gate of the railway line passing through Sakreli village and is preparing to erect a wall there, against which the villagers have come out on the road. Villagers say that the railway over bridge is very long, due to which now one has to travel 2 to 3 kilometers for every small work. Even if someone dies in the village, one will have to walk a lot to reach the cremation ground in the village itself. The villagers are demanding that the gate should not be closed due to the construction of an under bridge at the Sakreli railway crossing.

Angered by the decision of closing the railway gate, the villagers have also warned of boycotting the Lok Sabha elections. In such a situation, a new challenge has arisen in front of the newly appointed Collector of Sakti district, Amrit Vikas Topno, before the Lok Sabha elections, because of the violation of the code of conduct. It is not possible to get new approval at the time. In such a situation, now it has to be seen how the district administration will convince the villagers.
