Mumbai. At a time when fewer films are being released in theatres, actor Kartik Aryan on Sunday said that both ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ and ‘Singham Again’ have “very good chances” of doing good business in theatres. Horror comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ and action film ‘Singham Again’ will be released on November 1 on the occasion of Diwali.
During a session of the two-day ‘Indian Film Project-14’, Karthik said, “There are a lot of holidays on Diwali, so I think two films can easily do well in theatres. ‘Singham Again’ is an action film, whereas our (film) is a horror comedy. As a film lover, I see it as a celebration for everyone because we have two options on the same day.” He said, “This is a rare thing in our film industry because less films are being released these days. I think the audience is eagerly waiting for both (films).” The film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ directed by Anees Bazmee also stars Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Trupti Dimri.
At the same time, Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’ is being described as a “modern-day adaptation” of Ramayana. It stars Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor. According to Karthik, there is no competition between the two films. He said, “I like his film (Singham Again), I will also watch it.” I hope you will also watch our film. There is a strong possibility of both the films being successful.”
