Gorakhpur/Ayodhya/Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday inaugurated a “floating restaurant” at Ramgarh Lake here and referring to the incident of miscreants allegedly spitting on rotis and mixing urine in fruit juice, said that people will not get “spit-covered rotis” in this eatery.
Adityanath said, “It is a good thing that at least people will not be served Hapur juice or rotis with spit on them. Whatever will be served here will be pure.” The Chief Minister made this comment last week after the arrest of a shop owner and the detention of his 15-year-old son in Ghaziabad district’s Loni area on charges of selling fruit juice mixed with urine.
Similarly, on September 12, a video of a teenager allegedly spitting on roti while making it in a restaurant in Saharanpur district went viral on social media. After this, the owner of the restaurant was arrested. Earlier in June, the police in Noida arrested two people for selling juice mixed with spit.
In the month of Shravan this year, the state government had made it mandatory for food stalls and fruit vendors on the Kanwar Yatra routes to display the names of the shop owners. Its order was heavily criticized. The government had argued that the purpose of these instructions was to promote transparency. The construction of this ‘floating restaurant’ named ‘Float’, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, built on Ramgarh Lake in Gorakhpur, started on August 17, 2022. According to officials, 150 people can dine at a time in this three-storey restaurant of 9,600 square feet.
Every district’s big mafia and goon was associated with SP: Adityanath
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday attacked the Samajwadi Party (SP) and said that the biggest mafia and goons of every district were associated with the SP. Targeting the previous SP government, he said that when the mafia ran a parallel government and created chaos and hooliganism, Babua (here he probably meant SP chief Akhilesh Yadav) did not come out of the house.
He said, “Babua used to wake up at 12 o’clock. The public used to suffer.” Adityanath said in a public meeting in Milkipur that the biggest mafia and goon of every district was associated with the SP, was its officer or disciple. He said that crossing the limits of Muslim appeasement, these people had spread anarchy during festivals and imposed restrictions on Holi, Diwali, Rakshabandhan-Shivratri, Ramnavami-Janmashtami.
According to a statement, he said that he had banned Janmashtami celebrations in police stations, police lines and prisons.
He said that some people did not like the tune of Hare Rama, Hare Krishna, so the SP used to ban it, used to ban the Kanwar Yatra. Adityanath reminded of the riots in Ayodhya during Durga Puja. He said, “The idol was stolen from the Devkali temple during the SP government. As an MP, I came from Gorakhpur and protested.” The Chief Minister, who was engaged in Mission Milkipur, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 83 development projects worth more than one thousand crores in Ramnagari Ayodhya. He also provided cheques, keys, certificates, sewing machines etc. to the beneficiaries of various schemes. The Chief Minister also counted the development works being done in Milkipur.
He said, “Before 2017, Uttar Pradesh was considered an obstacle to India’s development. Anarchy was at its peak. There was discrimination in development schemes and great men were insulted. BJP’s double engine government increased development work at a fast pace in seven and a half years. Today, four-lane, two-lane roads, better connectivity of villages, electricity and water arrangements are seen in villages and hamlets.” The Chief Minister said that in Uttar Pradesh, toilets were provided to 2.62 crore families and housing was provided to 56 lakh poor people. He said that 15 crore people are getting free ration in Uttar Pradesh, but before 2017, SP goons used to usurp the ration of the poor.
The Chief Minister said that when lamps are lit on the temples of Ayodhya on Deepotsav, only the SP chief and Pakistan have a problem because they know that every lamp lit in Ayodhya will illuminate Ayodhya, the state and the country and has the power to destroy Pakistan which has become a cancer on humanity. He said that Pakistan is an enemy of India, it has a problem, but due to its anti-Hindu mentality, Samajwadi Party also has a problem.
Claiming that Ayodhya has now become the most beautiful city, Adityanath said that the Deepotsav will definitely cause problems to the SP because they loved the disputed structure which was destroyed by the Ram bhakts. He said that it is surprising when those whose hands are stained with the blood of Ram bhakts discuss Ayodhya, people laugh at what they will discuss about Ayodhya.
Targeting the SP chief, he said that the person who bows down before the mafia and kneels before the rioters calls the saint tradition a mafia, the soul of Aurangzeb has entered inside them. He said that these people spread anarchy by occupying the land of the poor. They give shelter to anti-national elements for political gains.
