According to the information received, the deceased, a resident of Changorabhata under Amanaka police station area, worked as a guard in a Kalyan truck garage. On Friday, his body was seen floating in the drain at a short distance from the truck garage. After which the police was informed. The police reached the spot and took out the body. It is being told that there are injury marks on the head and ear of the dead body.
Police busy investigating CCTV footage
Prima facie, it is suspected that someone has hit him on the head with some heavy object. Due to which he died and then the body was thrown in the drain. At present, the police is questioning the people nearby. Also, the police has checked the nearby CCTV cameras.
